IBM 5494 Terminal Controller
The IBM 5494 Remote Control Unit provides access to an AS/400 for remote workstation users.
Remote users get the same capabilities as if they were locally attached to the AS/400.
This product is no longer available new from IBM, but you can count on us to be your refurbished hardware source for years to come.

Note: Features 1210 and 1500 allow one to connect up to 80 LAN devices to a 5494.
This allows for any mixture of twinaxial and LAN devices (up to a maximum of 56 twinaxial devices when using feature 1200) as long as the total number of devices is 80 or less.
